The CEO of Transitioning Forward, Allen Fitzsimmons oversees all aspects of the

Belchertown, MA, company, which sells assets for clients who are moving or selling their

estates. Certified as a U.S. Professional Tennis Association Level 2 certified tennis

instructor, Allen Fitzsimmons competes in tournaments. The USPTA regularly hosts tennis

tournaments, such as the 90th Annual Pacific Southwest Championships in September


Held at the Palisades Tennis Club in Newport Beach, California, the Southwest

Championships welcomes all members of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and

consists of over 10 divisions, including men’s singles and doubles divisions for participants

in various age groups. Other divisions include mother-daughter doubles, husband-wife

combo doubles, and father-son doubles. Furthermore, the championship serves as a USTA

National Super Category II Event.

Championship entrants must maintain active membership with the USPTA or USTA to join,

and registration starts at $65 per player for the first event and $43.50 per player for each

additional event. Competitors must wear collared shirts and no T-shirts or black soled

shoes are permitted on the courts. In addition, competitors may receive discounted rooms

at the Hyatt Regency Hotel for $165 a night.

The Annual Pacific Southwest Championships will take September 11 through September

18, 2016.
